Yes, I agree, this site is a nightmare! I have been on here for twenty minutes now and haven’t been able to locate a single image or screen of thumbnails to choose from. Your last site’s navigation was hopeless at best, but now we have returned to the neolithic age it seems. PLEASE do something!

when I click on the “disable flash gallery” button (below the image box) it is much easier to navigate. The images are just lined up in a normal organized fashion instead of the weird flash zoom around thing. Try that and see if it helps. (And note to site coordinators; remove the flash! It isn’t working for you.)

M B-C, we learn from all of this. And we’re rethinking our original policy.

We don’t have a problem, and think its somewhat dishonest, to take down critical remarks.

But, you imply a good point: Having rudeness causes a little jolt to other readers. Even if it doesn’t bother us (and, we’d wonder if no one was reading if we didn’t get any rudeness), there is still an observer-effect — like watching someone else get yelled at.

Hmm. We have to think this one through. We’d just as soon leave up the rude remarks (doesn’t phase us), but what does bother us a lot is when other users/readers are annoyed.

Is it possible you could put an update on the homepage as to the status of your re-design and functionality of your site? For a brief period of time the site was functioning and then offline for a day, and now I can’t get any images to come up. I keep checking back daily to see if things have been resolved. The homepage looks like everything is working properly but then when I start clicking, no images actually come up. It is mis-leading to appear like it is up and running, but doesn’t actually work and there is no disclaimer on the homepage. Does it work for some computers and not others? Any information/expectation would be wonderful.

Rick- I am perfectly capable of using my computer, yet this site is not loading properly. What now? Do you have snappy answer for this instance as well?

Anway, I can see where it seems to be trying to load, but nothing is coming up. When I click on an image (well, the image place holder), it times out. Would love to browse this site again, so hopefully something will be resolved?

Oh my gosh!!! I used to love this site. It was SO useful in my artwork, and when i just needed a smile. What happened? I tried using Explorer and Chrome, I even went to the trouble to make sure my Flash was updated (even though I always disabled it.) I know it’s free and we shouldn’t expect miracles, but can we at least have the old buggy version back? At least there were pictures.

I have loved this site since I found it a year ago, however, there seems to be something drastically wrong. The images do not load, the frames are blank, no matter which item in the gallery I choose. I’m a web/graphic designer/illustrator and I too love/hate this site. Please, please distill the frustration expressed in all these comments and turn that into a re-design…you’d have a wonderful resource. Unfortunately, as it is, it’s just kind of a painful user experience.

I can’t see any images in the thumbnails; just blank squares. I saw the note about clicking disable flash gallery, but I can’t find that button/link. I am able to scroll through the large images at the top of the page, however. Is there some way for me to see the thumbnails?
